the first of two covers for Heathen Sent #1 [link] an independently published comic book i am doing with ~ cstuck

for those not familiar with the project or my previous designs for it, this is Loki, the Norse god of fire/mischef. :)

He does have nice hair, doesn't he? I'm not sure about shading his skin with black, though, sort of dirties it compared to the rest.

That looks great Jill! Your style, as always, is unique and bold. I love the really dark shading, is contrasts fantastically with the fire hair (which looks awesome, btw). The only thing I'm not set on is the background. It's nice but rather dull, though perhaps it is that way unpurpose. *shrug*

Anyway, great job, and I can't wait to see more prview, or for SD so I can pick up a copy!!

actually, it started out purple, but came out blackish later... i am trying to tweak it
