The devs over at City of Heroes forum made a call for new fanart, so I figured, what the hell...

This is my Trick Arrow/Sonic Blast Defender, Chaointe. the name is Gaelic for a type of Banshee. No, I don't know how it's pronounced. (I get asked a lot)

My name, the server, and my gallery url are plastered all over it because the last time CoH chose one of my drawings to showcase, some idiot on another server copied my name, costume and powers on another server and even accepted credit for my art. So I hope plastering the server right on the drawing should help alleviate such a problem again. She is on Virtue, and Virtue only. =p

yes, I love painting shinies.

PS. They need to add plaid capes to the game. Seriously. In the game she has some celtic pattern on there, but I REALLY wanted it to be plaid.

PPS. ZOMG! Can it be?! a new deviaton?! :o Yeah I'll be uploading some new stuff over the next week or so.

Wow! This is a great picture, I love your lineart and coloring. The hair, bow, legs and the stuff around her feet are very well-done and I realllly like the coloring on those areas.

Torso looks a little weird, I think maybe it's generally a bit too long? It also seems like her ribcage is too wide and the waist is too skinny.

I like her pose, and I love her face. Very nice shading on there. And a very nice mouth. And nose.

I love her plaid cape, btw. XDD

o.O Torso too long? Looks good to me (even did a rough measurement). You not catching the slight twist of the body? Or is the shortness of the vest/low rise of the belt throwing things off for ya?

Good stuff, IMHO.
